Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role requires hands-on expertise in DevOps tools, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing DevOps pipelines, scripting, and supporting applications across multiple environments, including production deployments. Candidates should also have strong knowledge in Windows and Unix servers, along with working experience in .NET/Java application deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

DevOps Tools & Pipeline Management :

- Manage and optimize DevOps tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory for continuous integration and deployment.

- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Angular applications using Jenkins.

- Implement unit testing and code coverage tools in pipelines.

- Develop and enforce policies, standards, and guidelines for CI/CD and development work.

Version Control and Scripting :

- Work with GIT, GitHub, and TFS for version control and configuration management.

- Write and maintain batch and PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiencies.

Server Management & Security :

- Manage and maintain Unix and Windows servers, including ensuring security compliance with LDAD Security.

- Administer IIS web servers for deployment and configuration of applications.

Application Deployment & Configuration :

- Understand the deployment configurations for .NET and Java projects, ensuring smooth deployment processes.

- Experience in production deployments of .NET/Java and database projects.

Database & SQL Skills:

- Work with SQL Server development, understanding scripts and being able to write DML commands for data manipulation.

Collaboration & Governance :

- Collaborate with development teams to understand deployment requirements and improve CI/CD practices.

- Develop and implement governance strategies for the CI/CD pipeline and operational standards.

Must-Have Skills :

- Azure DevOps Expertise : Strong experience in managing Azure DevOps pipelines and other associated tools.

- DevOps Tooling : Proficient in Jenkins pipelines, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory.

- Version Control : Solid knowledge of GIT CMD and GitHub.

- Scripting : Ability to write batch scripts and PowerShell scripts for automation.

- Server & Security Management : Knowledge of Unix, Windows servers, and LDAD Security practices.

- TFS & Configuration Control : Experience with TFS and configuration control tools.

- Web Server Experience : Knowledge and experience working with IIS web servers.

- Application Deployment : Deep understanding of .NET and Java project deployments.

- SQL Server : Ability to work with SQL Server, including understanding scripts and writing DML commands.

- Production Deployments : Experience with production deployments for .NET, Java, and database projects.

- CI/CD Best Practices : Experience in Jenkins tool administration, and enabling best practices for unit testing and code coverage.

- Application Knowledge : Experience in Java, .NET, and Angular applications (working with tools like Maven, MSBuild, and Node.js).
