Job Description :

Role Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned SoC-Level Static Timing Analysis (STA) Engineer with strong expertise in STA methodologies and tools. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in timing sign-off, multi-power domain design handling, and proficiency in scripting for process automation.

Responsibilities:

Static Timing Analysis :

1. Perform SoC-level STA, including timing margin calculations and independent sign-offs.

2. Handle STA for multi-power domain designs effectively.

Flow Optimization :

1. Enhance STA workflows by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

2. Reduce turnaround time (TAT) for multi-mode, multi-power designs.

Constraint and Design Management :

1. Proficiently manage SDC constructs and design margins for optimal performance.

2. Generate and implement timing ECOs for physical design improvements.

EDA Tools Proficiency :

1. Utilize Synopsys PrimeTime, Cadence Tempus, and other industry-standard EDA tools.

Scripting and Automation :

1. Develop and optimize scripts using Tcl, Perl, or other relevant scripting languages.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

1. Coordinate with cross-functional teams across sites and time zones.

2. Drive ambitious project schedules and enable teams to meet delivery timelines.

Skills and Expertise :

Essential :

1. Strong fundamentals in Static Timing Analysis (STA).

2. Hands-on experience with SDC syntax and timing sign-off tools like PrimeTime or Tempus.

3. Familiarity with MMMC (Multi-Mode Multi-Corner), AOCV/POCV, and Tweaker tools.

4. Proficiency in block-level and SoC-level STA processes.

Desirable:

1. Knowledge of DMSA (Design Margin Sign-Off Analysis).

2. Expertise in automation and scripting using Tcl and Perl.
