ODI Developer - ETL/Data Warehousing (6-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer with over 6 years of experience in ETL processes, data warehousing, and data governance practices. The candidate will play a critical role in designing and developing ELT processes, creating data warehouse tables, and maintaining high data quality standards. The position requires excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility to work in rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities :

1. ETL/ELT Development :

- Design and develop Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

- Load data from source tables into staging tables, and then into target fact and dimension tables.

2. Data Analysis and Validation :

- Analyze data sources and establish data relationships in alignment with business requirements documentation (BRD).

- Validate data loaded into tables using SQL and other analytical tools.

3. Data Warehouse Design :

- Design data warehouse tables and provide detailed documentation.

- Develop and execute table creation scripts for the Database Administrator (DBA).

4. Data Quality Management :

- Identify and address data quality issues and provide solutions.

- Perform data profiling and validation techniques to ensure accuracy.

5. Data Governance :

- Utilize data governance tools and practices to maintain high data quality standards.

- Support data governance initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.

6. Collaboration and Communication :

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and issues.

Shift Flexibility :

- Be flexible to work in rotational shifts as required.

Qualifications and Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

- Strong proficiency in building functions and stored procedures.

- Proven experience in data warehouse design and development.

- Advanced knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and familiarity with data quality issues.

- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.

- Solid understanding of data governance practices and query techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving and research skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with advanced data profiling techniques.

- Familiarity with modern data governance tools and methodologies.

- Previous experience working in rotational shifts or dynamic work environments.
