Microsoft Project Server Administrator (8-12 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Project Server Specialist to manage and support our Microsoft Project Server environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft Project Server for effective project and portfolio management. This role will involve working closely with project managers, system administrators, and IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of Project Server into the organization's project management processes

What you'll do :

- Project Server Implementation & Management : Install, configure, and manage Microsoft Project Server environments (2010/2013/2016/Online), ensuring high availability and performance.

- Customization & Configuration : Customize Project Server workflows, views, and reports to meet organizational requirements.

- User Support & Training: Provide training and support to project managers and team members in using Project Server, ensuring users understand how to effectively manage their projects within the system.

- Data Management & Reporting : Develop and maintain project portfolio reporting solutions, leveraging Project Server's built-in reporting capabilities and integration with other tools like Power BI.

- System Administration : Manage user permissions, security settings, and integrations with other enterprise tools, such as SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform.

- Troubleshooting & Maintenance : Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to resolve issues and optimize system performance.

- Integration & Automation : Integrate Project Server with other enterprise tools and automate workflows to improve project management efficiency.

- Collaboration with Stakeholders : Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure that Project Server solutions meet business needs and are aligned with project management best practices.

- Data Migration & Upgrades : Oversee the migration of project data from legacy systems and manage system upgrades as needed.

What we are looking for ?

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- 8 years of experience with Microsoft Project Server (2010/2013/2016/Online).

- Proficiency in configuring and managing Project Server in complex enterprise environments.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

- Experience with SharePoint integration and SQL Server.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCP, MCSA) related to Project Server or SharePoint are a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, or other reporting and automation tools.

- Familiarity with ITIL best practices for IT service management.

- Experience in developing custom Project Server workflows.
