Full Stack Lead - Node.js/React.js (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

As per our Tech Lead position, We look for candidates who have customer facing experience. This includes gathering requirements, asking good questions, an interactive and independent decision maker.

The candidate will be involved in architecture and estimation of requirements. This is more of a project Management role and not a Tech Architect Role.

To look at someone who can join in month's notice. Who has worked as Full stack developer and grown upto Tech Lead level would be ideal. Any educational background is okay as long as the candidate has leadership skills and is technically sound.

- Min 5yrs exp or max 7-8 yrs.

- Would manage a project size of 15 - 20 members.

- Preferably who has worked in the Insurance domain.

- Candidates would be working using MERL/ MEAL.

- CTC budget 24 - 30 LPA

Mandatory Skill : React.js , Node.js, Team lead experience.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable full-stack applications using React.js for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.

- Define technical standards and ensure code quality through reviews, best practices, and adherence to development guidelines.

2. Team Management :

- Mentor and guide developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

- Allocate tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

3. Client Interaction :

- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, gathering requirements, presenting solutions, and providing updates.

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions while managing client expectations effectively.

4. Architecture and Design :

- Design robust, secure, and scalable application architectures.

- Work closely with stakeholders to select appropriate technologies and frameworks.

5. Integration and Deployment :

- Implement and integrate APIs, microservices, and third-party services.

- Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies to ensure smooth releases.

6. Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal impact on timelines and quality.

Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.

- Familiarity with modern frontend development tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel) and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).

- Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.

- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience :

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development with a focus on React.js and Node.js.

- 2+ years in a team leadership role, managing developers and delivering client-facing projects.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
