Job Title : LIFE & ANNUITIES FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT - FINANCIAL & REGULATORY REPORTING

What You'll Do:

- As a L&A Insurance Functional Consultant, you'll be at the heart of our growth story, leading it from the front. We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, dive into the details, take charge and make an impact. Impress us with your expertise in the L&A space and how you have mastered this function. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

- Solution Design : Design and recommend tailored solutions that meet client needs, leveraging industry best practices in the Financial and Regulatory space. Solutions may include software implementations, process improvements, and compliance strategies.

- Client Consultation: Act as a subject matter expert in Life and Annuity Insurance, specializing in Financial & Regulatory Reporting. Understand and analyze client business requirements related to financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

- Be a Problem-Solver : Analyze the Life & Annuities Financial and Regulatory in the industry, looking for compelling business problem statements, processes that need efficiency improvements and areas where Visionet should focus and build solutions driven by technology

- Industry Insight: Make a difference and stand out by staying updated on insurance industry trends, regulatory changes, and upcoming life/annuity regulations via SOA, IASB and other insurance bodies

- Drive Change : We're growing fast, and we want you to help us initiate and shape our Insurance PAS offerings. Your - insights will directly influence how we improve and innovate as a vertical.

What We're Looking For :

- Industry & Business Knowledge : Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in functional consulting roles within the life and annuity insurance industry, with a strong focus in areas such as statutory reporting schedules, GAAP schedules, exhibits, SOX control processes, financial consolidation processes, advanced data analytics in at least one function (actuarial, asset/investment, finance/accounting, or management reporting). Proficiency in regulatory reporting like Solvency II; National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Reporting; International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 17 etc. covering key components like Actuarial Valuations; Investment Reporting; Policyholder Behavior Analysis etc.

- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with financial reporting systems and tools - OneStream, Anaplan, Workiva, SOVOS, Blackline and SAP BPC. At least one reporting tool - Tableau, SAP Webi/AO, Power BI and General ledgers - SAP, Oracle, Workday
