Role : Cloud-Native Application Developer

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Cloud-Native Application Developer to join our team and play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications using cutting-edge cloud technologies and development practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, AWS services, frontend development, database management, and CI/CD best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Cloud-Native Application Development :

- Design and develop scalable applications using Python 3.11 and AWS services.

- Automate EC2 operations (start/stop) based on requirements for Prophet Enterprise Studio, an actuarial modeling software.

- Work with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, CloudWatch Logs, CloudFormation, VPC, Step Functions, S3, SQS, and SNS for various functionalities.

2. CI/CD Pipeline Implementation :

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to ensure rapid delivery and code quality.

3. Frontend Development :

- Develop user interfaces using React for web applications and plug-in frameworks.

- Maintain and enhance React-based projects integrated with Excel for improved functionality.

4. API Design and Development :

- Design, develop, and test RESTful APIs for seamless integration between services.

5. Database Management :

- Design, develop, and manage SQL Server databases using SQL Management Studio.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver technical solutions.

- Provide ongoing project support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.

7. - Excel Integration :

- Enhance Excel functionalities by integrating features that facilitate bulk actions related to PE Studio.

Skills and Qualifications :

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in Python 3.11 for cloud-native application development.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, etc.).

- Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and experience with Azure DevOps.

- Proficiency in React for UI development.

- Expertise in API design, development, and testing.

- Proficiency in SQL Server and database management using SQL Management Studio.

Good to Have :

- Experience in .Net Framework/.Net Desktop & Web Development.

Preferred Qualifications:-

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

- Prior experience working with actuarial modeling software or related tools is a plus.
