Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced SAP Customer Service Business Analyst with a strong background in Customer Service and proficiency in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) and Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) modules. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless integration of SAP solutions to optimize customer service processes, demand management, and order fulfillment in a dynamic business environment.
As an SAP Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and technical teams to define, configure, and support customer service processes within the SAP landscape, with a focus on APO and GATP. RTF: Rich object
Key Responsibilities :
1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis : Collaborate with business users to gather, document, and analyze customer service requirements, particularly in the areas of order management, availability checking, and planning.
2. SAP APO and GATP Configuration : Configure SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) and GATP (Global Available-to-Promise) modules to support order-to-cash (OTC) processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.
3. Business Process Optimization : Identify opportunities to streamline and improve customer service operations by leveraging SAP capabilities, particularly in demand planning, supply chain execution, and order fulfillment.
4. Functional Design and Solution Documentation : Develop functional specifications and solution design documents, ensuring that the proposed SAP solutions align with business requirements and system capabilities.
5. System Integration and Testing : Work with SAP technical teams to design and execute system integration, unit testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) of new configurations and enhancements.
End-User Support and Training : Provide end-user training and support for the SAP Customer Service, APO, and GATP processes. Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with SAP Supply Chain, MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and other teams to ensure end-to-end process integration and alignment.
7. Continuous Improvement : Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer service processes and suggest improvements to ensure efficient and effective order processing, demand management, and supply chain performance.
8. Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, enhancements, and process changes in the SAP system.

Required Skills and Qualifications :
1. Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP certification in relevant modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP APO, SAP GATP) is a plus.
2. Experience : Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Business Analyst with a focus on Customer Service, APO, and GATP modules.
3. Proven experience with order management, inventory management, and demand planning processes in an SAP environment.
4. Experience with configuration of SAP APO (DP, SNP) and GATP (Global ATP, Availability Check) to optimize order fulfillment and manage complex supply chain scenarios.
Technical Skills :
1. Strong understanding of SAP APO, GATP, and related modules like SD, MM, and LE (Logistics Execution).
2. Knowledge of SAP order-to-cash (OTC) processes, including sales order processing, ATP (Available to Promise), and backorder processing.
3. Understanding of supply chain and logistics processes with respect to demand management, order fulfillment, and product availability.
4. Familiarity with SAP interfaces, including third-party systems for order management and external applications.
Business Process Knowledge :
1. Strong understanding of customer service processes and their integration with sales, supply chain, and logistics.
2. Experience in managing and optimizing global ATP to ensure accurate delivery commitments to customers.
Soft Skills :
1. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with business users, technical teams, and management.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications :
1. Experience with SAP S/4HANA : Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA versions of APO/GATP and other integrated modules is a plus.
2. Project Management : Experience in managing or contributing to SAP implementation or upgrade projects, including working in Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
3. Industry-Specific Knowledge : Experience in Healthcare, manufacturing, distribution industries, where customer service and order management are critical.
