AmpsTek - Slack App Developer (3-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Craft a Connected Workspace : Build and customize Slack workspaces, ensuring seamless collaboration for our team.

- Bridge the Gap : Identify areas for improvement within our existing Slack setup and propose innovative solutions.

- Fuel Productivity : Enhance collaboration by optimizing SaaS integrations to guarantee consistent performance and a smooth user experience.

- Resolve & Escalate : Be the champion for Slack support, troubleshooting technical issues and resolving any lingering escalation queues.

- Delivery Champion : Assist in the delivery management process and ensure effective enforcement of best practices.

- Knowledge Sharer : Offer training sessions on Slack functionalities, custom apps, workflows, and other digital workplace tools.

Minimum Requirements :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience working with SaaS applications and Slack specifically.

- Comprehensive knowledge of digital workplace tools, particularly Slack Admin, Workflows, Forms, Apps, and APIs.

- Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with the AWS cloud platform.

- Expertise in configuration and integration utilizing tools like PowerShell, JavaScript, and Postman.

- Confidence in working with web services and RESTful APIs.

- Solid understanding of database structures, including SQL and NoSQL models.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, distributed networks).

- Understanding of cloud security models and API security best practices.

- Practical knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), and Agile frameworks.

- Experience working in a fast-paced Agile development environment.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively train and collaborate across teams
