Job Responsibilities :
- Coordinating with concern person/department for their requirements
- Raising indent for procurement of material and taking authorization from higher authority
- Ensuring well-timed delivery of required material to concern person/department
- Coordinating with purchase department, vendors, suppliers for timely delivery of material
- Managing inventory such that to ensure Just In Time Inventory
- Identify excess stock and ensure that such stock is optimally utilized
- Ensuring security of received material which comes under custody of stores department and taking remedial measures if required
- Ensuring physical verification of stock with book value to check if there are any anomalies and if any, investigate and report to concerned authority
- Implementation of SOP at every level of process
- Ensuring and verifying documents received along with material and examining quality standards of the received material
- Initiate interstate / inter-site transfer of materials for optimum utilization of material
- Compliance with all the HSE, ISO procedures
- Taking Approval & Receipts from Client for Project Material
- Housekeeping & proper storage of materials
- Daily reporting to HO about store transactions.
- Local purchase actions like inquiry, quotation, finalization of purchase orders and arrangement of material at site.
- Actions for hiring and renting of resources for site requirements.
- Preparation of material tracking status including with procurement actions.
