Job Title: Marketing Manager Fashion Retail Industry

Department: Marketing & Advertising
Location: Visakhapatnam
Reports To: Operation Head

Job Summary:

The Advertisement & Marketing Head is responsible for defining and executing strategic marketing and advertising plans to elevate the brand, enhance customer engagement, and drive revenue in the highly competitive fashion retail industry. This role demands expertise in both traditional and digital marketing, a creative vision, and strong leadership to position the brand as a market leader while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and advertising strategies that align with the brand’s vision and business goals.
  • Drive market research and customer insights to identify opportunities and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Set marketing KPIs and performance metrics to track success and ROI.

Brand Management:

  • Oversee the development and consistent application of the brand’s identity across all customer touchpoints.
  • Lead initiatives to build brand loyalty, improve perception, and differentiate the brand in a competitive landscape.
  • Foster partnerships with influencers, celebrities, and collaborators to enhance brand visibility and relevance.

Advertising Campaigns:

  • Conceptualize and execute impactful advertising campaigns across digital, print, broadcast, and outdoor platforms.
  • Lead creative ideation for seasonal launches, product promotions, and special events.
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, media planners, and production teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Retail Marketing:

  • Design in-store marketing strategies, including promotions, visual merchandising, and experiential campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the in-store customer journey and drive foot traffic.
  • Plan and execute exclusive events, pop-ups, and activations to engage with customers directly.

ATL Marketing (Mass Media Campaigns):

  • Design and execute large-scale campaigns across TV, radio, print, cinema, and outdoor advertising.
  • Partner with media agencies to plan media buys, negotiate contracts, and ensure effective placement.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to maximize impact.

BTL Marketing (Targeted Campaigns):

  • Create and manage localized campaigns, including activations, in-store promotions, exhibitions, and sponsorships.
  • Oversee experiential marketing initiatives, such as pop-ups, fashion shows, and product sampling.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to implement trade promotions and retailer engagement activities.

Vendor and Partner Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with advertising agencies, event management companies, and media partners.
  • Oversee the selection and management of vendors for BTL activations, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of marketing, advertising, and creative professionals.
  • Encourage innovation and creativity while ensuring accountability for results.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal departments and external partners.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and oversee the marketing and advertising budget, ensuring cost-efficiency and optimal ROI.
  • Negotiate media buys, sponsorships, and vendor contracts to maximize value.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Use analytics tools to track the effectiveness of marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports and strategic insights to senior leadership.
  • Continuously refine strategies based on data-driven insights and market feedback.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in marketing and advertising, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the fashion retail industry.
  • Proven track record of successful campaign management and brand building.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior and fashion industry trends.
  • Expertise in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and performance marketing.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and CRM tools.
