Qualification :
Essential
Candidate should have BE /B. Techin mechanical, Electrical, Production or Industrial Engineering (full time)from reputed institute.
Desirable
Candidate Should have degree/Diploma in Management or Master Degre in Engineering.
Experience: -:
Essential
8 to 12 Years of manufacturingexperience in Plant Maintenance with at least 5 years in a manager role.
Desired
Candidate is having exposure ofCasting & Hydraulics experience will be given added advantage.
Job Profile: -
The Head of Maintenance isresponsible for overseeing the entire maintenance function within theorganization. This role involves ensuring that all machinery, equipment, andfacilities are operating efficiently and effectively, and that maintenanceactivities are carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Head ofMaintenance will lead a team of maintenance professionals and work closely withother departments to ensure smooth operations.
Maintenance Strategy:
Develop and implement acomprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure maximum operational efficiency andminimal downtime.
Establish preventative andpredictive maintenance programs.
Monitor and optimize maintenanceprocesses to reduce costs and improve equipment reliability.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a teamof maintenance engineers, technicians, and other staff.
Provide training and developmentopportunities to the maintenance team.
Conduct performance reviews andset clear goals for team members.
Equipment and FacilityManagement:
Oversee the maintenance andrepair of all machinery, equipment, and facilities within the organization.
Ensure that all maintenanceactivities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with production andother departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage themaintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient allocation ofresources.
Monitor expenditures andimplement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or safety.
Vendor Management:
Select and manage relationshipswith external contractors and service providers.
Negotiate contracts and ensurethat service agreements are met.
Health, Safety, andEnvironment:
Ensure that all maintenanceactivities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Implement safety protocols andconduct regular safety audits.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of allmaintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and maintenanceschedules.
Prepare regular reports onmaintenance performance, including key metrics such as downtime, costs, andequipment reliability.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities forcontinuous improvement in maintenance practices and implement initiatives toenhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated on the latestmaintenance technologies and best practices.
Skills:
Strong leadership and teammanagement skills.
Excellent problem-solving anddecision-making abilities.
Proficiency in maintenancemanagement systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
Knowledge of safety regulationsand compliance requirements.
