Job Description:
The Finance Workday Developer is responsible for development and implementation of Workday integrations, reports, business processes and related processes within the Workday Financials modules. The developer collaborates with Finance IS, Workday IT and various CME Internal/External Technology teams on integration design decisions, issue resolution, and process design. The developer should have 1 to 2 years technical and functional experience with Workday Financials or a comparable ERP.
Partners with Finance IS to assist with Workday integration projects, including new modules and works with seniors in the team for implementations, system upgrades, enhancement packages, releases and process redesign.
Develops integrations between Workday and 3rd party systems using Workday Studio, Connectors and EIBs
Develops Simple, Advanced, Composite and Matrix reports to meet end-user requirements. Develops reports using BIRT
Possesses implementation knowledge of Workday Public Web services, APIs, Custom Objects and Custom APIs
Possesses proficiency in XSLT
Support Google Cloud Platform (GCP) initiatives
Desire an understanding of the various Financial Modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Projects and Asset Management, and the data flow between these modules
Works closely with team members to Prioritize Workday Application security and safeguarding highly confidential/sensitive data above everything else, while incorporating this mindset into every step of the SDLC. Always operates with a least-privileged access approach when it comes to securing applications and data. Is well versed in configuring integration security policies
Works closely with team members to Prioritize the support and enhancements queue while providing guidance to the other Workday Developers and ensures solutions/support are well informed and are delivered in an efficient manner. Provides best practice information for efficacy and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
B.E degree required; Computer Science or MIS Major is required.
1 to 2 years of technical and functional experience in a Workday Integration Developer function or comparable role.
Experience with Workday Financials (or comparable ERP) is a plus, specifically with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing and Procurement.
Good to have Experience with developing Studio integrations.
Complex and BIRT reporting experience is preferred.
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience a plus.
Knowledge of Business Process Configuration, condition rules, notifications and security policies is preferred.
Strong communications skills, written and verbal.
Flexible, with the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks as necessary.
Strong organization, customer service and time management skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
