Cloud Engineer - US Shift - Ahmedabad/Pune - 15 To 30 days joiners

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Cloud Operations System Engineer I to join CloudOps team. This entry-
level role is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure
to ensure high availability, performance, and security. The ideal candidate will have a
foundational understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), system administration,
and troubleshooting methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring & Management:
†Monitor cloud infrastructure health, performance, and capacity using cloud-native and
third-party monitoring tools (Datto, Logic Monitor, etc.)
†Respond to system alerts and incidents, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
†Support deployments and upgrades while ensuring minimal downtime.

Incident & Problem Resolution:
†Investigate and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, escalating to senior engineers as
needed.
†Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and propose preventive
measures.
†Document incidents, resolutions, and process improvements.

Automation & Optimization:
†Assist in automating operational tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like
Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
†Identify opportunities for cost optimization in cloud resource utilization.
Security & Compliance:
†Ensure cloud environments follow security best practices, WAF and compliance
requirements.
†Assist in implementing security policies, access controls, and logging mechanisms.

Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to support cloud services.
• Maintain detailed documentation for cloud environments, configurations, and operational
procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or
equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Linux/Windows system administration.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VPCs, VPNs, Firewalls, Load Balancing).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment (on-call rotation may be required).

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in AWS (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate), Azure (AZ-
900, AZ-104), or GCP (Associate Cloud Engineer).
• Exposure to monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD tools and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
