The Role : Cloud Architect - GCP

Key Responsibilities :

Thought Leadership :

- Exhibit leadership in the GCP Cloud and Big Data domain through various channels such as Yammer blogs, white papers, webinars, events, and conferences.

Solutions and Sales Support :

- Support pre-sales activities including conducting discovery workshops, developing point of views/assets/scoping, writing proposals, and supporting sales and marketing enablement for GCP, Cloud and Big Data related technologies.

- Lead the asset development for practice.

Consulting for New and Existing Clients :

- Provide advisory and consulting to new and existing customers, support delivery hand-offs, address unmet needs, and manage client expectations for their GCP, Cloud and Big Data technologies.

Share and Build Expertise :

- Cultivate and share GCP, Cloud, and Big Data expertise. Lead the GCP practice with structured meetings and maintain an innovative cloud technology lab.

Nurture and Grow Talent :

- Provide support for recruitment, coaching and mentoring, and building practice capacity in the firm in GCP, Cloud and Big Data technologies.

Skills Required :

- Experience designing and implementing GCP cloud architecture with a focus on monitoring, alerting, and logging.

- In-depth knowledge of GCP services for data integration, BI, and processing, including Dataproc, Cloud Logging, Data Fusion, and Looker.

- Familiarity with GCP storage solutions such as BigQuery, Firestore, and Cloud SQL Databases.

- Understanding of Big Data ecosystems, including Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.

- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Scala, and Java.

- Experience in DevOps automation for GCP with a focus on security, and expertise in configuring

networks and infrastructure, as well as developing complex ETL workflows

Qualifications & Experience :

- Overall 9+ years of IT experience; minimum 3+ years of experience on GCP-related projects.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
