Hiring Infrastructure Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies and plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Manage the IT infrastructure's day-to-day operations, ensuring that infrastructure services are delivered promptly and efficiently including the organization's cloud environment.
• Monitor the performance of the IT infrastructure, identify and resolve issues, and ensure that the infrastructure is operating at peak efficiency.
• Develop and maintain IT infrastructure policies and procedures that ensure the security and integrity of the organization's data and systems.
• Oversee all administrative functions associated with the Atlassian product suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Manage and develop a high-performing IT infrastructure team, including hiring, training, and performance management. Provide technical guidance and support to the IT infrastructure teams and ensure team members are trained on new technologies and tools.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to IT infrastructure.

Collaborate with senior management level in developing long-term plans

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 14+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure and teams.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Strong technical background in network, server, and storage technologies and their implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in ITIL other relevant certifications is a plus.
