Job Description

Cleantech Solar is seeking a suitable candidate to lead land acquisition for South India. Reporting to the Vice President & Country Manager India, the candidate will lead all aspects related to land acquisition and necessary land-related approvals/permissions required for the company s renewable energy offerings in India.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to

Acquiring land for the company in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to install solar and wind power plants

Obtaining all necessary approvals

Working with land aggregators, legal consultants and other relevant stakeholders for conducting due diligence on earmarked land

Resolving all Right of Way (ROW) issues related to land and evacuation infrastructure

Requirements

Professional qualification Graduate

7-15 years of experience in land acquisition

Self-starter; detail-oriented, meticulous, dependable and trustworthy

Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Be willing to travel within India

Location

Job location for the above position is in South India, with requirements for travel to various Cleantech Solar sites and locations across different states in India
