Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Pune

Job Summary: The Compliance Specialist will ensure the organization

adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. They will be responsible for enforcing

regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as providing guidance on

compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Statutory Audit Liaison and Compliance:

• Prepare Schedule VI Financial Statements.

• Complete statutory audits with detailed reviews and tax returns.

• Liaise for statutory audits and tax returns.

• Review finalized financials and tax returns.

2. GST Compliance:

• Prepare and file GSTR1 and GSTR3B returns.

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST refund claims, respond to

notices, and file returns.

• Prepare annual GST returns.

• Reconcile 2A and 2B records.

• Handle GST refund processes and notices.

3. TDS Compliance:

• Compute TDS liabilities accurately and timely.

• File and revise TDS returns as needed.

4. Monthly Reporting:

• Understand cost centers and prepare accurate cost reports before due

dates.

• Analyze cost data and provide cost center-wise functional reporting.

5. Internal Audit:

• Design internal audit scopes.

• Conduct thorough and effective internal audits, providing actionable

recommendations.

• Present internal audit reports.

6. Drafting Skills:

• Exhibit excellent drafting skills for various compliance documents and

reports.

7. Effective Communication:

• Communicate proactively, politely, and timely.

• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Practice active listening.

8. Ownership and Accountability:

• Take ownership and understand accountability for assigned tasks.

• Be responsive to internal customers and reliable in task completion.

9. Process Excellence:

• Identify patterns for improvement and take initiatives to enhance processes.

• Present findings or root cause analyses effectively.

10. Confidentiality:

• Ensure 100% confidentiality of financial information.

• Practice due care in sharing data and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• CA With 3+ years in a compliance role
