Assistant Manager- Finance

Main Purpose of the Position

We are seeking a focused and motivated Accounts Receivable and Revenue Billing Executive to manage accounts receivable, ensure timely collections, accurate reporting, and effective customer communication. This role supports cash flow, accurate revenue recognition, and positive customer relationships, coordinating across multiple states. Experience in media and broadcasting is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable: Take charge of invoicing, accurate accounting, and timely collection processes, ensuring smooth cash flow management.
• Customer Ledger Management: Regularly review and reconcile customer ledgers, confirming balances and resolving discrepancies quickly to maintain strong customer relationships.
• TDS Reconciliation: Handle TDS receivables, reconcile with Form 26AS, and coordinate with customers to ensure prompt collections.
• Debtors Ageing & Analysis: Prepare and analyze ageing reports, implementing strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and improve financial performance.
• Revenue Release Order (RO) Verification: Ensure the accuracy and compliance of Revenue Release Orders, validating billing information for correct invoicing.
• Tax Knowledge & Compliance: Stay updated on GST and income tax regulations to ensure all financial activities are compliant with current laws.
• General Accounting Support: Assist with various accounting tasks, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel; working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of Indian financial regulations, including GST and TDS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with a focus on MIS.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience in the media and broadcasting industry is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to manage financial operations across multiple business units.
• Familiarity with digital financial tools and platforms.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail.
