Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities:

• •System Management and Support: Maintain and support the IT systems used in purchasing services, including SAP, Outlook, and Power Automate, Planner etc. Ensure smooth functioning of these tools for task execution and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and suggest technical solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

• Digitalization and Automation: Generate and support the execution of digitalization and automation initiatives within the Purchasing Excellence team.

• Collaboration and Networking: Build and maintain a good network with colleagues across different sites to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on data analysis. Use data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Advanced Excel, Tableau) to track key performance indicators and identify trends.

• Provide technical support for SAP backend issues, resolve SSO login problems, and manage EDI setups and troubleshooting for supplier interactions.

• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the CLAAS Global Purchasing team, including but not limited to data entry and document preparation, SAP task execution, orders execution, Excel analysis, and Presentation preparation, RFQ Preparation.

• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and other relevant documents in compliance with organizational standards. Maintenance of supplier master records and material data.

• Decision-Making Authority: The Purchasing Administrator may have the authority to make decisions such as prioritizing workload, escalating issues, and coordinating with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Authorization for Document Processing: The Purchasing Administrator may be authorized to process certain documents, such as purchase orders, contracts, and invoices, within specified limits and guidelines.

• Access to Information: The Purchasing Administrator may have the authority to access and retrieve information from relevant databases, systems, and records to support purchasing activities and decision-making processes

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Specialist and Data Analyst, preferably in a procurement or purchasing environment.
• Proficiency in SAP, Outlook, Power Apps, Power Automate, Planner and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications in relevant IT tools and technologies (e.g., SAP, Microsoft certifications).
• Demonstrate a keen interest in IT tools and be willing to explore many possibilities and opportunities to enhance the purchasing process.
• Proficient in SAP backend management, including SSO authentication protocols, EDI configurations, and supplier integration.
