Qa Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• API Testing & Automation:
  
• Develop, execute, and maintain API test scripts using Postman or similar tools.
• Validate API responses, performance, and integration with backend systems.
• Automation Frameworks:
  
• Design and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and/or mobile applications.
• Enhance test coverage by implementing reusable test cases and scripts.
• Test Planning & Execution:
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Defect Management:
  
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools like Jira.
• Work closely with developers to resolve issues and validate fixes.
• CI/CD Integration:
  
• Integrate test automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Monitor test execution and report results effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:
  
• Proven experience with Postman for API testing and automation.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Testing Tools:
  
• Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, RestAssured, or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Analytical Skills:
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience:
  
• 3+ years of experience in QA automation and API testing.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• ISTQB Certification or similar QA certifications.
