JOB DESCRIPTION
The IT and Admin Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our organization by managing both IT and administrative tasks. This position involves providing comprehensive support to maintain efficient office functioning and a robust IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, overseeing administrative operations, and ensuring a well-maintained office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • IT Management:
    • Hardware and Software Management:
    • Troubleshoot and optimize hardware and software systems to ensure functionality.
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of hardware and software capabilities.
  • Network Infrastructure:
    • Manage and troubleshoot network components, including routers, switches, and cables.
    • Ensure network reliability and performance.
  • Budget Planning:
    • Assist in planning and forecasting budgets for IT projects and initiatives.
    • Monitor and report on IT expenditures.
  • Backup and Recovery:
    • Design and implement effective backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Asset Management:
    • Implement asset management practices, including inventory control and maintenance scheduling.
    • Maintain accurate records of IT assets.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Utilize strong analytical skills to address IT issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Communication:
    • Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels and provide technical support to users.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with teams on IT-related projects and initiatives.
Administration:
  • Housekeeping Management:
    • Oversee housekeeping activities to ensure a well-maintained office environment.
    • Manage cleaning schedules and coordinate repairs.
  • Support Staff Supervision:
    • Provide guidance to support staff, including guards and maintenance personnel.
    • Coordinate their duties and schedules.
  • Dispatch Management:
    • Handle the dispatch of documents and parcels, ensuring timely delivery and record maintenance.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Liaise with vendors for office supplies and services, managing contracts and payments.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative assistance to various departments, including report preparation and meeting organization.
  • Facilities Management:
    • Oversee office layout and utilities to ensure a comfortable work environment.
  • Compliance and Regulations:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies, staying updated on industry best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in IT and administrative roles, with a strong understanding of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Personal Attributes:
