CIMET - Senior Frontend Developer - React.js/Next.js (4-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented and passionate Frontend Developer with expertise in React.js and Next.js to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building high-performance, user-friendly web applications, preferably in a product- focused environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement modern, responsive, and scalable user interfaces using React.js and Next.js.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.

- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into functional, visually appealing applications.

- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.

- Debug and troubleshoot issues across browsers and devices, ensuring cross- browser compatibility.

- Build reusable components, libraries, and frameworks for future use.

- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in frontend development.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to standards.

- Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js, with a deep understanding of component-based architecture.

- Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Recoil, or Context API.

- Familiarity with modern frontend development tools and build processes (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Vite).

- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into web applications.

- Knowledge of responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Material-UI, or Bootstrap).

- Experience with version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.

- Understanding of SEO principles and performance optimization techniques for web applications.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) in Next.js.

- Experience in working with a product-driven environment, contributing to customer-focused features.

- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Vercel, Netlify).

- Basic understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to implement them.
