CIMET - Scrum Master (3-9 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master to join our team and help drive the successful delivery of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile principles, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, helping the team effectively apply Scrum principles, and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate Scrum Events : Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure that the team is progressing towards project goals.

- Remove Obstacles : Identify and help remove any obstacles or blockers that might hinder the team's progress.

- Coach and Mentor : Educate and guide the team and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles, fostering self-organization and accountability within the team.

- Promote Communication : Facilitate clear communication within the team and with external stakeholders, promoting transparency in progress and decision-making.

- Drive Continuous Improvement : Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, track team metrics (velocity, burn-down), and work with the team to implement process improvements.

- Support Product Owners : Work closely with Product Owners to manage backlogs, clarify requirements, and set priorities.

- Protect the Team : Shield the team from external distractions, ensuring they can remain focused on sprint objectives.

- Ensure Alignment : Facilitate coordination and alignment between different teams and departments as necessary to ensure smooth delivery.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Certification : Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications (e.g., PSM, PMI-ACP) preferred.

Experience :

- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in Agile environments.

- Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

- Experience working with cross-functional teams (development, QA, product) in an IT, software, or technology environment.
