Job Description

Position summary
Responsible for the promotion, Demonstration and sales of Phaco equipment-mainly entry Level and Medium Range Phaco Machines in a given Area. Extending Application Support to Customer after installation and when necessary or requested, training the customer and their staff on optimal usage of all features of the machine as well as maintaining the machine properly for better functioning. Closely work with service team to address any technical issue or concern faced by Surgeons to provide relevant and quick solutions to maintain customer delight.
Achieve or exceed the annual and quarterly sales objectives as well as increase the customer acceptance of our machines and thereby Increase the installation base and Market Share.
Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives.
Essential functions / responsibilities
Main areas of responsibility
Ensure effective sales of the Phaco equipment with Presentation, effective and successful demos ,winning commercial discussion and closures.
Should conduct successful Applications to ensure surgeon s adaptation on our technologies and equipment.
Closely work with service team to address any technical issue or concern faced by Surgeons to provide relevant and quick solutions
Strongly coordinate with IOL Team Members for Lead generation and maintaining a healthy funnel.
Achieve or exceed the annual and quarterly sales objectives through the use of selling skills, excellent demos, successful and timely application, time and territory management and the efficient use of promotional material, engagement activities consistent with marketing objectives and eventually increase the overall Installation base and Market share.
Should be good at building relationship with internal and external customers (Doctors / KOLS / Distributors / Peers and Superiors).
The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring competitor activity and market trends, recommending solutions and implementing corrective actions based on facts and data information.
Effectively collaborate with the ASM and other cross functional teams for constant up selling opportunities for premium IOL s
Ensuring timely collection of data and submission of report to their manager.

Qualifications
Qualifications
A Bachelor s degree in Science/Engineering (Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation) MBA will be an added advantage
Minimum 4 - 6 years sale experience in Medical Devices and consumables with at least 2 years experience in equipment selling
Supervision / authority
A. Give no supervision to others.
B. Have lead responsibilities for one or more employees.
C. Responsible for work flow production, training of new employees on covered jobs, answering job-related questions in one or more areas.
D. In addition to "C", assist in reporting on performance, recommending advancements, implementing new or changed procedures. Generally recognized as Group Leader or Assistant Supervisor.
E. Have full, direct supervisory responsibilities for a department or function.
