Key responsibilities
- Performing phacoemulsification surgery to remove cataracts and implant intraocular lenses

Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of residency training in ophthalmology
- Board certification in ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in phacoemulsification and cataract surgery
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Demonstrated surgical expertise in phacoemulsification procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Adherence to ethical and patient-centered care principles
- Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Experience in mentoring and training medical students and residents is preferred
- Knowledge of and adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards
- Capability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic clinical setting
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
