Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing routine gynecological exams and prenatal care
- Overseeing all aspects of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
- Diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions and disorders
- Performing surgical procedures including C-sections and hysterectomies
- Interpreting diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds and blood work
- Advising patients on contraception, family planning, and menopausal management
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Providing emotional support and counseling to patients
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Participating in educational programs and research initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Valid medical license to practice
- Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological procedures
- In-depth knowledge of women s reproductive health
- Excellent surgical skills and experience in performing C-sections
- Strong diagnostic abilities and interpretation of medical tests
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and compassion towards patients
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards
- Experience in academic and clinical research is an advantage
- Proven track record in providing exceptional patient care
- Capability to handle high-pressure situations with poise and confidence
