About:
- Chimera Technologies is a two decade old offshore software services organization primarily in the business of setting up offshore teams for its customers worldwide who are primarily ISVs and Enterprises.
- We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager with an experience in selling offshore services across our competency spectrum and few targeted industries.
- Full timers.
- Focused sales for the South East Asia Market.
Job Roles & Responsibilities (What problems will you solve):
- As a Senior Business Development Manager you would be required to understand the services offered by chimera and work to generate and nurture the leads and convert it into a sale.
- This would involve ideating the campaigns with maximum impact and aligning that with our capabilities to provide a powerful pitch.
- The person will also be required to demonstrate software applications, technology solutions and other artifacts that chimera holds to prospective customers.
- The person will need to write proposals independently, work closely with the delivery teams to validate the technical proposal in line with the expectations.
- The person is also required to understand and know the competition landscape.
- Need to be socially active and should be able to write simple case studies or posts for LinkedIn
Who would be the right fit for the job:
- A person with a proven experience in software services sales in a small or medium sized services company and exhibits a real hunger for sales is a right fit.
- It is expected that the person be highly tech savvy, able to generate leads via LinkedIn, travels, networking and able to explain the services that we offer, question estimates from the delivery teams and have a consultative approach to selling offshore services.
- Attend client meetings across time zones.
- Flexible to travel to primarily Singapore on a need basis.
- Presentability, technical acumen, ability to provide solutions, consistent follow up, writing capabilities are some of the key attributes.
Mandatory/Primary Technical Skills:
- Someone with an industry experience of about 3+yrs.
- Preferably in small to medium sized software services company.
- Should be able to prepare their own presentations and other materials required and work independently within the context of support that the organization can provide.
- Should be able to articulate and communicate well in customer calls and shows the passion to sell.
- Should be able to understand the entire gamut of product development life cycle and the technologies offered by us.
- Chimera offers both extended delivery center setup services and outsource product development services and hence the candidate should possess knowledge in these.
- In addition, should be able to articulate solutions around digital, QA, Analytics and Gen AI space.
- Primary market is Singapore.
- Desirable Skills/Industries/Domain Preferred
- Digital services selling, Analytics, Devops, QA, AI & Gen AI are service lines with which the candidate needs to have a deep understanding.
Soft skills:
- Should be able to navigate across functions and work with leadership.
- Should be able work across timezones where necessary and be available.
- Presentable and a good command on English.
