Chimera Technologies - Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing (5-8 yrs)

Job Location : Bangalore, HSR Layout.

Job Model : Hybrid Mandatory ( 3days WFO, 2 days WFH)

Experience : 5 to 8 Years

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).

- Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects and issues.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies and test plans.

- Log and track defects using defect tracking tools (e. JIRA, Bugzilla).

- Conduct performance testing to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance.

- Participate in security testing activities to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure quality throughout the development process.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.

- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.

- Knowledge of testing tools like JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.

- Experience with SQL and databases.

- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and test reports.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies
