SCADA (SAS)

Educational Qualification: BE / B. Tech - Electrical / Electronic/ Computer / I&C

Experiences : 14 to 18 Years

• Carrying out Engineering review, Testing, FAT, commissioning and O&M.
• To provide prompt resolution and high-quality technical support for the SAS and communication systems of AGEL installations of Solar, Wind, Substation etc. in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Support Substation Automation and Communications, lead, and mentor the SAS & communication team, ensuring end-to-end responsibility for value engineering, Factory Acceptance Testing, and commissioning of substation automation (SCADA) systems, FOTE & PLCC systems.
• Engineering, application, and solution architecture design of OT (SCADA/Sub-Station Automation) System to ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to quality standards.
• Working and hands on expertise of control & protection, Relays, IEDs, EHV Switchyard, SAS, SCADA, Cyber security aspects and various audits.
• To develop and integrate SCADA, PLC, RTU, SAS and RONC (Central control and command center) for all renewable Power Plants.
• Handle all cyber security related matters including SAS, SCADA and related network with IT and OT network interface.
• Support seams less function of data flow and consistency from site to ENOC and respective RLDC, STU, CTU etc. as required.
• Coordination with other department ENOC, other stake holders, for related matters
• Train team at HO and site for skill enhancement, managerial aspects.
• Help in design panel layouts and wiring diagrams, Should be able to develop and document SCADA and PLC programs
• Design, monitor and integrate wired and wireless Ethernet and Serial data networks and other network equipment e. g. switches, firewall, routers, etc.
• Perform site surveys and analysis.
• Supervise the construction of instrumentation and control systems.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, repair, report on, and recommend / perform service of SCADA, PLC, RTU, SAS, Firewalls etc.
• Maintains engineering records, lists and reports as required to ensure compliance with the work schedule, adherence to the budget, adherence to design specification and to ensure engineering problems are monitored and resolved.
• Clean and organize assigned working areas and tools.
• Manage material procurement as directed.
• Optimize the available inventory and procure new inventories as per need for the allocated area.

Ensure quality assurance, safety, and environment standards by way of well-defined review mechanism

• Should be well versed in O&M of Solar & wind Power Plant
• Able to travel frequently, Can Stretch with tenacity & perseverance.
• Possess a strong desire to perform work as directed in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
• Good experience with programming and configuring SCADA software packages, PLC platforms, Microsoft Operating Systems, OPC, SQL, and OLE clients and servers, firewalls etc.
• Working experience with various protocols like Modbus RTU/ASCII, Modbus TCP/IP, OPC, IEC61850, IEC-60870-5-101/104 etc.
• Perform I/O loop testing, wire tracing and identification.
• Configure desktop and server PC hardware and OS.
• Extensive knowledge of electricity, electronics, and computers.
• Knowledge of basic electrical construction tools, materials, and techniques
• Desire to learn new skills, move up, and accept increasing responsibilities.
• Support for Designing & implementation of GOOSE & industrial communication protocol-based special/system protection schemes to ensure the safety of the power system in SAS.
• Provide Support to Group initiatives for Implementation & Audit of OT Cyber Security procedures and Policies. Enhance and improvise the OT Security Postures at All Plants and Site by implementation of various standard & Secure practices.
• Expertise in application, and technology for Substation Automation System IEC61850 (SCD, ICD & CID, GOOSE), FOTE and PLCC
• Experience in Engineering, FAT & Commissioning of various OEM Substation Automation System, FOTE and PLCC system.
• Training and Guide team for skill enhancement, Analysis, resolve issues and take help from other team, resources, administration on case to case basis.
• Maintain the inventory at optimum level.
• Ensure zero mal-operation and human error.
• Supporting for Implementation of BPTs like IMS / DISHA / Statutory AUDIT/ LAM-SAP etc.
• Supporting for Bench marking of the O&M, RCA, FMEA and testing practices.
• Identify training needs at individual levels, training, motivating and directing team to optimize productivity and promote professional growth.
• Handling interpersonal conflicts promote collaboration and respect among team.
• Regular coaching to employees, provide constructive feedback and mentor them to succeed in their position.
