Experiences:

Understanding of GIS, EHV substation, EHV Transmission line, Wind turbine, Inverter, Solar Power plants. Wind plant related equipment and Auxiliaries. Understanding philosophy, application and technology for Electrical equipment Operation, Maintenance, Testing and Commissioning.

Working knowledge of procedure for Testing and its results able to analyze and do commissioning of equipment with all SOPs and Electrical standards.

Position holder may require travelling to site locations as per requirement

Educational Qualification:

B.E. (Electrical) with 15 to 20 years of Experience, preferably in renewable technical support team Electrical / Mechanical profile.

1. Operation & Maintenance experience of EHV substation equipment, GIS, Power transformer, substation configurations, Transmission line, HT / LT switchgear, Wind turbine, inverter & Hands on working knowledge of electrical protection system.

2. Diagnostic of equipment testing results, Preparation of RCA, Coordination with Grid, Coordination with OEM and breakdown support.
3. Expert in operating Electrical Testing and Measuring equipment to ensure the appropriate functioning and testing of electrical equipment in Solar & wind Plant and Substations.
4. Understanding of GIS, Substation equipment, Switchgear, Transformer, USS, wind turbine, inverter, relays and electrical protection and their operations with condition monitoring.
5.Daily / routine monitoring of substation events and occurrence and preparing relevant report / data to support RCA & Troubleshooting.
6. Understanding with hands-on experience of CRP scheme, IED configuration, Handson working with IEDs, scheme wiring and equipment schemes.
7.Testing, Commissioning, and troubleshooting of GIS, Transmission line, Substations, Power Transformer, Inverter, Wind turbine, electrical equipments, Protection system and scheme for new projects and involvement in FAT activities.
7. Experience of Power system study, Load flow study, Transient study, High voltage system and equipment protection above the 220KV system.
8. Power Transformer, Reactor Maintenance, RCA, CAPA protection and relay setting & coordination.
9. Data collection for Occurrence Analysis (RCA), Reporting, Trouble shooting.
10. Support for IMS, Reporting and maintaining relevant database.
11. Required exposure, understanding and ability to observe safety aspects and procedures to carryout activities in live switchyard.

12. Support to wind team for major breakdown i.e. blead, stator, rotor, gearbox etc.
