Charter Global - Performance Test Engineer - API/Load Testing (4-5 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Work on performance testing and engineering of large web applications and APIs for RS Teams.

- Design, Develop, perform load, stress and scalability flows to validate system performance and stability using Load runner/JMeter runner is a must have.

- Define performance engineering strategy.

- Experience in creating API postman collections.

- Define and monitor the performance metrics, review results, prepare reports.

- Identify the performance bottlenecks and provide detailed data to System Architects and DevOps team to support issue resolution.

- Should have Database and SQL skills.

- Should have experience in leading the small team to work on new initiatives based on business requirements.

- Experience in monitoring tools Dynatrace, Splunk.

- Knowledge in using SQL Stress Tool Testing.

- Experience in understanding of dotnet code.

- Experience on Database Performance tuning, Dotnet dump analysis is an added advantage.

- Identify areas/components that are critical to system performance, performance KPIs.

- Develop, document, and maintain performance scenarios.

- Generate periodic performance engineering data/reports for stakeholders to review.

- Implement Endurance test, Soak test, Stress tests methodologies.

Qualifications Required :

- Masters / Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or related field (In lieu of degree, 4+ years of work experience)

- Minimum 4-5 yrs. experience working on performance testing and engineering of large web applications and APIs for RS Teams.

- High attention to detail with excellent analytical, research and troubleshooting skills.

Below would be added advantage :

- Performance tuning and Optimization exp with database

- ASP.Net exp with Microsoft dotnet framework.

- Database exp (SQL Server, Oracle, or any DB)

- Knowledge of Open-source tools is added advantage.

- SOAPUI, Postman, Opensource performance tool, JMeter Performance Testing exp.

- Visual Studio Load testing or similar tool API/ Services / Node JS Performance Testing exp.
