Deputy Manager -EV Infra

Role & responsibilities

1. Infrastructure Management:

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of EV charging stations, ensuring equipment functionality and network reliability.
• Coordinate with technical teams for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs to ensure uninterrupted service.

2. Project Coordination:

• Assist in planning and implementing new EV charging station installations, expansions, and upgrades.
• Work closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Monitor performance metrics of EV chargers, including uptime, session data, and energy usage.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, optimize performance, and implement preventive measures.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on infrastructure performance and key projects.

4. Customer Support & Issue Resolution:

• Collaborate with the customer support team to address user concerns, ensuring timely resolution of technical and operational issues.
• Troubleshoot charging equipment issues and escalate to the relevant teams for resolution.

5. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all EV infrastructure complies with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain safety protocols for equipment handling and installation.

6. Vendor Management:

• Liaise with suppliers and third-party vendors to procure necessary equipment and services.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with service providers to ensure cost-effective operations.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in managing technical infrastructure projects, preferably in EV charging, renewable energy, or power distribution.
• Strong understanding of EV charging technology and industry standards.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and operational oversight.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with vendor management and negotiating contracts is a plus.
