The Executive - IT is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of hardware and software systems. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing user support, and assisting with the implementation of IT projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• IT Support : Provide technical support to staff by resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
• System Maintenance : Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Network Administration : Assist with the setup, configuration, and management of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connections.
• Software Installation and Updates : Install, configure, and update software applications as per organizational requirements.
• User Access Management : Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure security and compliance with organizational policies.
• Security Management : Implement and enforce security protocols to protect against malware, unauthorized access, and data breaches.
• Data Backup and Recovery : Ensure regular data backups and assist with data recovery in case of system failures or disasters.
• IT Documentation : Maintain accurate records of IT systems, procedures, and configurations for troubleshooting and compliance purposes.
• Collaboration : Work with other IT team members and departments to support the implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
• Continuous Learning : Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices to improve IT systems and processes.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting, network administration, and database management.
• Knowledge of Operating Systems : Experience with Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.
• Security Knowledge : Familiarity with network security practices, firewalls, and antivirus software.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication : Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with users and document issues clearly.
• Team Player : Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with other departments.
