Job Description
The Chain Stores Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize sales and profitability within chain stores. The role involves managing relationships with key retail partners, driving performance through collaboration, and ensuring that all operational, marketing, and sales targets are met or exceeded. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets across chain stores. Collaborate with the senior management to align sales targets with the overall business strategy. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Sales Management: Lead the team to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and provide actionable insights. Negotiate and manage annual agreements with chain stores and ensure compliance with the terms. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within chain stores. Act as the primary contact for chain store partners, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth operations. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure proper visibility of products in stores. Operations Management: Oversee inventory management and logistics to ensure product availability at all times. Ensure that merchandising and promotional activities are executed effectively at the store level. Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, and finance) to optimize store operations. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of sales executives and managers, ensuring high performance. Provide coaching and support to team members, setting clear objectives and conducting performance reviews. Develop a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Monitor market conditions, competitor actions, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement. Use data-driven analysis to make strategic decisions for product placement, pricing, and promotional activities.
