Job Description
The Junior Executive - Supply Chain will assist in the day-to-day operations of the supply chain department. This role will involve supporting procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor coordination activities. The candidate should be detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and ensure the smooth functioning of supply chain processes to meet business goals. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals with some foundational knowledge in supply chain operations, looking to grow their career in this field. Procurement Support: Assist in purchasing activities by creating purchase orders, following up with vendors for timely delivery, and maintaining accurate procurement records. Vendor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to track order status, resolve any issues related to delivery or quality, and assist in maintaining strong supplier relationships. Inventory Management: Help monitor stock levels and alert the team to low stock situations. Assist in regular inventory counts and updating records in the inventory management system. Logistics & Shipping: Coordinate with logistics providers for transportation and delivery of goods, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and within budget. Assist in the preparation of shipping documents and tracking of shipments. Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately input data related to supply chain operations into ERP systems. Assist in preparing reports on inventory, order status, and other KPIs as required by the management. Process Improvement: Suggest improvements in existing processes for better efficiency and cost reduction. Assist in implementing process improvement initiatives under the guidance of senior team members. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all supply chain operations are in line with the company s policies and local regulations. Assist in maintaining proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Collaboration: Work closely with the production, finance, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination of supply chain activities with overall business operations.
