Job Position: Timber Procurement - Supervisor

Location: Thervoykandigai Sipcot, Tamil Nadu

Roles and Responsibility

1.Daily progress report of surveys, data collection and farm land planted with Eucalyptus - to be communicated as per format provided.

2.In coordination with the manager, wood procurement ,implement the defined strategy for sourcing/purchasing wood and bark for the plant from all sources.

3.Negotiate pricing on wood  (round wood, chips, and bark) and transportation.

4.Develop and implement initiatives to improve the cost of fiber, while managing supply risk.

5.Manage administration of assigned supply agreements.

6.Maintain Strong vendor relationships.

7.Monitor competitive markets.

Skills Required:

Experience: 1-8 years of experience.

Qualifications: B.SC & M.SC (Forestry/Agriculture)

Salary Range : 3 - 4.5 LPA
