Assistant Manager Quality

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems in alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of quality control processes across various departments, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Design and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency, reduce defects, and streamline workflows.
• Define quality assurance procedures, standards, and specifications for products or services, ensuring they meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key quality metrics, improvement initiatives, and recommendations
• Inspect the foam for all visual defects and do the corrective actions
• Dimension checking with Physical dimensions for all incoming material
• Root cause analysis of all the defects and documentation of the same
• Development of action plan on the basis of root cause analysis to check the defects and improvement of yield
• Ensuring that SOPs (ISO & IATF) of all the processes on the shopfloor are adhered strictly
• Conduct frequent trainings to the shopfloor team on SOPs of all the processes
• ISO Documentation of Cutting & Dispatch process
• Preparation of Quality reports
• Responsible for quality check of incoming packing/other stores materials.
• Carry out checks of quality parameters of packed foam sheets/Cushions etc.,
