Director

The Centre for Management Development (CMD), an autonomous institution under the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Kerala invites application from qualified and competent candidates for the position of Director. Eligibility & Other Conditions

Educational Qualification:

MBA or Post Graduation in Economics/Commerce/ Entrepreneurship, etc., and a PhD from a reputed institution which is Approved By UGC/AICTE (from India or abroad).

Experience:

Total experience of 20 years, out of which five years in an administrative/leadership position should be mandatory and consultancy experience related to projects is desirable and would be given special weightage.

Requirements:

The candidate should have publication(s) in international journal(s) which is a desirable criterion and not a mandatory one. Knowledge of the Malayalam language is preferred.

Age:

The upper age limit as on the date of notification should be a maximum of 55 years.

Remuneration:

The selected person would be paid a monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 2.5 lakh plus an annual increment of 7.5%. The variable pay component would be based on a certain percentage of the net surplus revenue generated over expenditure, which will be decided by the Governing Board. This will be over and above the monthly consolidated pay and the yearly increment as suggested earlier.

Term of Appointment:

The term of the Director will be three years and extendable by two years (based on performance).

Others:

The candidate can also be on deputation.
