Role & responsibilities
1. Territory Coverage
a. Achieve the business objectives laid out for the financial year (or part thereof)
b. Seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, lead generation and meeting with customers and making product presentations.
c. Build the product portfolio of the SBU (Enterprise Compute Solutions) and achieve the SBU Bottom line.
d. Align with the OEM to build the technical skills required sales / pre-sales / post-sales.
e. Build strong win-win relationships with OEMs, distributors and vendors.
f. Understand the emerging trends relevant to the BU and proactively build assets, tools, skills and capabilities in order to remain relevant and essential to our customers.
g. Preparing proposals while working in tandem with the SBU Head, SE and the Service Delivery team to arrive at viable and financial value propositions for solution deals.
h. Assist sales teams on sales calls and help in closing sales, customers queries / complaints, call escalation. Collaborate with the team to establish best practices.
i. Meet monthly quarterly / annual business targets and close new business deals by coordination the requirements, negotiating contracts and integrating partner needs with business operations, while having a firm hold over payments and bills receivables within specified limits.
2. Customer Relationship / OEM Management
a. Responsible for handling sales and managing existing and future business customers.
b. Will be responsible for the entire Account Management and drive customer satisfaction and be the single point of contact for your customers IT requirement (within your SBU).
c. Streamline and adhere to processes and systems and provide inputs to Management on maximizing business relationships and creating a positive customer service environment.
d. Collaborate with the focused OEMs PAM / RM and get potential leads.
Preferred candidate profile
Skills/Competencies/Capabilities required:
a. Experience in Sales / Business Development / Solutions sales / Account Management role with excellent customer handling skills in a corporate environment and in a customer facing role.
b. Good understanding of Enterprise Compute Solutions, such as compute, server, storage, backup, HCI, virtualization, cyber security, cloud and software solutions.
c. Thorough understanding of the various aspects of the IT infrastructure and their interlinkages, with expertise in one’s own SBU
d. Should be able to identify opportunities for Enterprise solution requirement sizing.
e. Ability to create a business plan to achieve business objectives and execute follow through.
f. Systems and design thinking and exposure to consultative selling approaches
