Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Consultant Marketing:
  • Market and promote bench consultants to potential clients via phone, email, and social media platforms.
  • Create and maintain consultant resumes, profiles, and portfolio packages for client presentations.
  • Maintain detailed records of consultant placements, conversations, and opportunities.

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Understand client requirements and match them with available consultants.
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, and placements to ensure the best possible deal for both parties.

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify new business opportunities and create sales strategies to secure new clients and grow the existing client base.
  • Work closely with the recruiting team to understand available talent and staffing needs.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance and market trends to management.

  • Job Order Management:
  • Work with the recruitment team to ensure candidate profiles are being actively matched to open roles.
  • Track the status of all job orders, placements, and open requirements to ensure timely follow-ups.

  • Consultant Care:
  • Communicate regularly with consultants to keep them updated on market trends, job opportunities, and client feedback.
  • Provide support and guidance to consultants throughout their employment period, ensuring a positive experience and high retention rate.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Proven experience in Bench Sales Recruiting or related sales role in the staffing industry, preferably within IT or technical staffing.
  • Strong knowledge of US staffing industry trends, technology stacks, and client requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with CRM tools and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
