Role - Security Manager

Responsibilities

• Be the functional specialist of Security/safety/firefighting/loss prevention / traffic management and guide the management on these areas.
• Manage the security services being provided at the premises across various asset classes.
• Be the organizations link with the government law enforcement agencies.
• Coordinator for fire preparedness and leader in emergencies.
• Traffic and car park management within all the premises.
• Daily walk around to audit quality and consistency of security processes.
• Setting up security management policies and guidelines and monitor its implementation.
• Setting up policies for car park and traffic management.
• Security team resource planning including the manpower for all locations.
• Guide all the stakeholders (Security team, Clients, contractors) etc. on the security policies.
• Ensuring the regular training of Security team as per the pre-determined training plan.
• Ensure that all security personnel are having excellent bearing, smart uniform and turn out.
• Carrying our regular/ surprise checks on the security team on alertness and preparedness and report.
• Maintain close relations with the government law enforcement agencies and guide the management on issues requiring their involvement.
• Set up selection criteria for security service providers and monitor their performance against measurable parameters.
• Ensure compliance of statutory obligations by the company and service providers.
• Identifying and recommending new trends in security management including electronic security systems.
• Identifying and recommending cost optimization avenues.
• Setting up ERT and ensuring the preparedness of ERT in handling crisis and during mock up drills.
• Review of traffic plan and ensure adequacy of traffic signage within the premises.
• Carrying out investigation and reporting to the management on all security related issues.
• Ensure 5S and Digitization compliance by the team.
• Be a part of the CFT team during events.
• Check and evaluate before granting access for work orders.
• Coordinating in Installation of CCTVS/Crash barriers and any other similar security systems in the properties.
• Carry out thorough security and safety audits of the campus and implementation of findings.
• Taking care of entire safety, security, and loss prevention aspects of all new projects (client site).
• Conduct evacuation drills.
• Carry out trainings for security officers and supervisors/guards on certain important topics and train the trainers about required standards of the field.
• To make security force as differentiators in all client properties in terms of total quality and bearing.
• System health and efficient functioning of all Firefighting Systems.
• Functioning of Remote Surveillance Systems & extraction if data whenever required.
• Conduct fire and evacuation drills.
• Incident free operations.
• Handle Client escalations.
