Role - Security Officer

Responsibilities

• To look after all the Security arrangements.
• Monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting suspicious behaviour.
• Communicating with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel in case of any incident or during events.
• Monitoring public access and ensuring the security of all personnel and visitors.
• Responding to alarms and analysing security footage.
• Investigating suspicious behaviour, incidents, and security breaches.
• Maintaining an activity log and preparing surveillance reports.
• Prepare and submit daily/ weekly/ monthly reports.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Good knowledge of SOPs and demonstrated ability to implement Security SOPs thoroughly. Bring out gaps in protocol, if any, based on practical experience.
• Conduct training of security guards and assess their readiness for duty.
• Maintain departmental records and files.

Preferred candidate profile

• Relevant experience of 3-4 years as security Officer.
• Previous experience in supervising security guards.
• Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgment.
• Strong reporting skills.
• Working knowledge of public safety, security operations, and procedures.
