Power Bi Developer

Overview of Position:

We are looking for a Power BI developer to play a key role in the development and support of the companys application. This includes designing, developing, and consulting and mentoring developers / business partners regarding reporting and implementation. As a member of our development team your communication and analytical skills are essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

The major requirement for this role is to assist our inter-regional development team with Power BI dashboards, Dataflows, and having sound hands on experience on SQL queries and using other data sources.

Your skills in conceptualizing solutions while working with minimal oversight will enable you to thrive in our constantly evolving environment. You will need the ability to work as a team member and be able to assist the development team in assessing the needs of the business users, developing extensible solutions to meet those needs and applying best practices in developing those solutions will be critical to your success in this role.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Degree qualified.
• 5+ years experience in BI Development & Design (Power BI)
• Technical aptitude
• Strong SQL skills
• Excellent working knowledge of the following:
• Agile Processes
• Power BI Desktop
• Power Platforms
• Understanding of the Identifying Performance Improvement tools
• RLS implementation in Power BI
• Data Modeling and handling
• Data Analytics
• Tableau (Desirable)
