Job Description

I. Planning and Execution:

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and various government agencies.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Follow up the submitted applications for necessary approvals, licenses, and permits.
  • Track and follow up on pending applications to ensure timely acquisition of approvals and legal documents.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Attend meetings, events, and forums to represent and promote the companys interests.
  • Develop a network of contacts within government bodies to facilitate advocacy efforts.
  • Understand and articulate the companyposition on regulatory and policy issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and government bodies.
  • Facilitate communication and cooperation on various projects and initiatives.
  • Address the queries of any concerns or issues raised by government authorities to the NMS global Ventures team and ensure the update.
  • Represent the companyinterests in industry discussions and initiatives.
  • Organize and conduct stakeholder meetings, briefings, and consultations.
  • Address and manage stakeholder concerns and feedback .
  • Act as the companyspokesperson during regulatory or compliance-related crises.
  • Enhance the companypublic image and reputation with regulatory and government bodies.
  • Manage the dissemination of information to the public and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all public statements and communications are accurate and aligned with the companyvalues and objectives.
  • Work closely with internal departments (eg, legal, compliance, operations, finance) to ensure alignment on regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Implement internal policies and procedures for regulatory compliance and liaison activities.
  • Ensure internal policies are updated regularly to reflect changes in legislation and industry standards.
  • Maintain records of all regulatory and liaison activities.
  • Prepare regular reports for the Managing Director on regulatory compliance and liaison efforts.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible for audits and inspections.

II. Professional Development:

Attend leadership workshops and seminars to enhance strategic thinking and decision-making skills.

Stay updated with changes in regulatory frameworks through continuous education programs.

Enroll in courses related to legal compliance and ethical business practices.

Engage in continuous learning about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.

Attend industry conferences, webinars, and trade shows to network and learn from peers.

Join professional associations and networks to stay connected with industry leaders.

III. Documentation:

Collating team weekly reports and submitting the same.

IV. Behaviour and Safety:

Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.

Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with diverse stakeholders.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE :

Bachelordegree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in liaisoning, regulatory affairs, or a similar role.

Post graduate degree from recognized university
