Clearing Systems Analyst

Job Description Responsibilities The Clearing Systems Analyst will be part of the Operations team located in New York and Chicago that assists with all aspects of the operational process for ICE Clear U.S. (ICUS), the US futures clearing house at ICE. The Clearing Systems Analyst will focus on the Technology Operations and Systems Analysis aspects of the team s responsibilities. The Clearing Systems Analyst will: Gather, analyze, harmonize and document requirements for system improvements and bugfixes. Compile the scope of user acceptance testing (UAT) for system releases and organize UAT process. Test the changes before they go in production and provide UAT sign-off for technical changes (or additional resources for business teams to be able to test them). Streamline and improve existing ICUS business processes and working procedures. Organization and maintenance of relevant documents on ICUS SharePoint. Technical support for ICUS business teams. Analyze and document the requirements for Tableau and Business Objects data sources, work with Dev team on implementing them and test them before production deployment. Develop Tableau Prep flows and reports/dashboards. Develop Business Objects reports. Partner with Dev teams on developing proof-of-concept solutions to assess the value and help with implementation of the new system features and upgrades to newer versions. Provide operational advisory services to Clearing Members regarding topics such as upcoming enhancements to the ICUS clearing platform. Knowledge and Experience Bachelor s Degree is required, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be detail-oriented and apt to working in a controlled yet fast-paced environment. Able to work both independently and as part of a broader team. Experience with programming languages (VBA, Python, Java, SQL, PL/SQL) and Data Analytics tools (Tableau, Business Objects). Experience with Listed Derivatives (Commodities) Clearing and Exchanges is a plus. Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
