Senior Manager- Legal

Role : We are looking for a Senior Manager- Legal with 7 - 10 years experience to support our rapidly growing team.

• Litigation Management and Administration, providing effective strategy for management and resolution of disputes and implementation of suitable strategy for mitigating risk arising from such disputes as well as other contentious issues

• Managing pan India litigation portfolio for the Company, engaging law firms and advocates in various jurisdictions as per requirements, co-ordinating with internal stakeholders for investigation of claims and pursuing such claims in various jurisdictions.

• Providing advisory on contentious issues, assessing and managing the litigation risk for products and services offered by the Company and providing strategy for mitigating such risks.

• Finalization of all legal documentation for presentation in courts, tribunals and Authorities, issuance of legal notices and replies thereof, filing complaints before police authorities and pursuing such complaints.

• Management of queries and replies to law enforcement agencies including directorate of enforcement, police officials and other statutory authorities, providing statements on behalf of the Company and fulfilling any information requests as may be sought

• Expertise in payments, banking and / or fintech industry in India is preferred.

• Knowledge of contracts drafting, reviewing and general corporate advisory would be an added advantage

What You Will Need:

• Bachelors Degree in Law from India.

• Must have extensive knowledge managing litigations and disputes relating to contractual laws, company laws, arbitration laws, employment laws, financial crimes and recovery proceedings

• Strong fundamentals in laws around the fintech & payment industry is preferred.

• Should be able to demonstrate capability in engaging and managing law firms and external counsels.

• Excellence in providing practical & pragmatic legal solutions to the organization to make the business work and devising strategies to solve & mitigate legal issues while adhering to guidelines
