FinOps Manager

• Ensuring all revenue is recorded correctly and accurately each month, by revenue type.
• Reconciling revenue accounts to supporting documents, including invoices and cash receipts.
• Completing bank reconciliations and managing company bank accounts.
• Accounting for income earned on our value add services, such as financing income, extended warranty and insurance income.
• Ensuring GST / VAS is accounted for correctly.
• Ensuring deposits and accrued income are recorded accurately and completely.
• Perform all accounting processes, including the preparation of month end journals and general ledger reconciliations. Ensuring all month end procedures are completed accurately and in accordance with communicated timeframes.
• Manage the month end review process and ensure all reconciliations are prepared and reviewed before the month end reporting cut-off.
• Ensuring all relevant accounting standards and principles are complied with.
• Year end processes, including responding to audit queries.
• Training and supervision of staff, as required.
• Developing better processes and procedures for your areas of responsibility.
• Implementing best practices to ensure balance sheet accounts are reviewed and cleared out in a timely manner.
• Leading a business partnering approach to your areas of responsibility, such that your work is led by a knowledge of the underlying business. Liaising directly with senior management in Australia to achieve this.
• Providing support to the broader team as and when required.
• Good working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP.

Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• CA or MBA qualified with 8-10 years of post-qualified experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
