About the role
As a Cloud Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure cloud solutions to protect our organizations sensitive information and assets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain robust security architectures, policies, and procedures across our cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct security assessments, threat modelling and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats within cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures to mitigate risks and protect data.
- Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on secure cloud deployment practices.
- Implement security controls and monitoring tools to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies in the cloud computing space.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and priorities for cloud projects and initiatives.
- Participate in security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are Architects, If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field; master s degree preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience designing and implementing secure cloud solutions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including identity and access management, data encryption, network security, and compliance.
- Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
