Job Description

Responsibilities:

- We are looking for an experienced Government Sales professional who can generate Sales through Ministries, State Govt. departments Central Ministries, or other such procurement agencies of the government of India in the assigned territory.

- Worked on government portals like gem portal etc and knew well about the entire process including bidding for these projects.

- Involved in Pre bid meetings, preparation of documents, submission, follow-up, and finalization of tender.

- Responsible for Business Development and owns the Territory Sales and End to end Account Management.

- Report to Director and work with them to define Sales propositions and carry end-to-end responsibility to increase revenues.

- Business development with major assigned ministries and state government departments.

- Generate sales through new opportunities in Central / State Government departments.

- Expected to know various initiatives /Trends in the use of IT /Managed services/DC services/Security /IT software and hardware/Projects in Enterprise Accounts.

- Travel across the defined territory for all sales activities.

- Involved in sales calls and lead generation.

- Log all calls and monitor success rates, Considerable amount of time shall be spent face-to face with existing and potential customers.

- Work closely with the project, product development, presales, and delivery in the process of business development.

- Will be responsible to grow existing accounts and acquire strategic new customers.

- The objective should be to penetrate accounts in multiple areas: promote new solutions and services to existing business units, establish new revenue streams with new business units, as well as maintain and grow established business streams within the account.

- Front face with the customers, Able to generate customer RFP/ RFI proposal development, pricing documents, customer reviews, issues handling, negotiations, and deal closure.

- Assist with processing and closing order paperwork.

- Develop a successful working relationship with the company project, product development, presales, and delivery teams so that successful handoffs can take place and problems/ issues can be proactively identified and solved.

Qualification:

- Experience in handling Sales of IT Software & Hardware products & solutions offerings.

- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of demonstrated success in Sales management experience in an IT environment with a track record of increasing responsibilities.

- At least 4 years in an IT Solutions company, preferably with a background in Service Provider, System Integration, and/ or IT vendor services.

- Throughout experience in sales in Govt. Sector, PSUs.

Education:

- B.Tech/MCA/MBA/any Masters
